Hey,
I'm traveling to Rotterdam in June and I can't find much info about europort. What is the easiest way to get to europort from Rotterdam without a car/taxi?
Also is it only the 'A' roads you can't cycle on?

Hello, Europoort is not an official town or region. It's an industrial zone.
You need an exact address.
Of course you can cycle there, but it being an industrial zone you can understand that cycling lanes are not a first priority in the area. Public transportation is also not a priority. People working in Europoort generally use their own motorised transportation.
If you give me some idea of your plans there, I could help you further. I live very near the area (5 kms).
Oh right, sorry my mistake.
I'm getting the ferry from Hull, Uk to Rotterdam and it arrives in europoort.
On the outward we are cycling to Amsterdam.
On the return we will need to get from Rotterdam central to Europoort hopefully without having to cycle but we will have bikes with us so I'm looking for a coach or train route that goes as close as possible to the port where you can sail to Hull.

admire the many new, very modern, very interesting and impressive buildings. Because of the tragic fact that in the second World War the city centre was destroyed in a bombardment there was 'room' for a brand new centre, This city is so completely different from Amsterdam and yet so typically Dutch that I think people should pay more attention to it, Rotterdam deserves that. So go and have a good look around, see the skyscrapers, climb the Euromast, have a harbourtrip through the largest harbour of the WORLD, visit the Maritime Museum or....discover the Dutch countryside by bike starting from Rotterdam. Of course there is a wonderful ZOO in Rotterdam with the name BLIJDORP
my many visits to this city, which give me the opportunity to discover and to love this city, especially the architecture, because it is the City of Architecture by excellence. The archicentre offers visitors special tours and walks past examples of high-rise building by international architects as Jahn, Foster and Piano and the city also boasts modern architecture from our own Koolhaas, Quist, Klunder, Hoogstad, Bonnema, Blom en Weeber..

There are around 40 of the Cube Houses, one is a show cube where you get an impression what it's like. There are three floors, connected by some extremely narrow steps, and the floors are the only thing that's normal. You must not be a giant, or you must wear a hard hat all the time. You must like experimenting with furniture - coz you hardly find anything that fits.
