 | Rotterdam Hotel Benelux Reviews | 1 - 2 of 2 | | After staying in great hotels in Brussels and Amsterdam, my friend and I had our lucky streak end at the Hotel Benelux. After surviving the trip up the incredibly steep and narrow stairway, we were shown to our room, which seemed dirty and definitely had a bad odor. The staff was pretty unattentive and could not even provide us with two towels. The bed was small, but the blanket was smaller, the shower flooded the entire bathroom the moment you turned it on, the tv didn't turn on, among other things. I don't mind staying in small hotels (especially for the price, which was very reasonable), but the Hotel Benelux was entirely without charm, and the staff showed no concren with making us happy. The hotel is out of the way in an unattractive neighborhood across the bridge from downtown Rotterdam, but the tram picks up across the street. This place is not worth the savings, look elsewhere!

It was horrible! The hotel Benelux was the crappiest hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. The only good thing about it: It was cheap. You have to drag your luggage up 2 floors through very small and narrow stairs. The rooms are too small and not very clean either. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but the tram station is right in front so you can go to the city quite quickly.
I would not recommend to stay at this hotel. Spend a few bucks more and save yourself trouble.
