NH Atlanta Rotterdam
Lovely hotel, good clean rooms and comfy bed. Nice bar area and good breakfast. Only complaint was that the hot water didn't work all the time, and my collegue had none first thing in the morning. Given that this is a hotel used by lots of business travellers, this is a bit of an oversight. Everything else good though - I would stay here again, just be prepared for the occasional cold shower!
Unique Quality: Good location, helpful staff. Nice bathroom, good cable TV (included). T&C facilities

Rotterdam to Amsterdam
Hi All.
Can somebody help me, I'm arriving into Amsterdam and staying in Rotterdam in the NH Atlanta Rotterdam Aert van Nesstraat 4. How to get from the airport to the hotel and any idea how much it costs?

Check out www.ns.nl and click on "English." It looks like there are direct trains every 30 minutes from Amsterdam Airport (Schiphol) to Rotterdam Central Station. Travel time is 45 minutes, cost is EUR 10.10 1 way second class.

From Schiphol there are direct trains to Rotterdam Centraal station (45 minutes travel time)
You can take a taxi, the metro (underground) 1 stop to the Stadhuis (City Hall) or walk (15 minutes) to the Aert van Nesstraat

The direct trains from Amsterdam Schiphol airport run 3 times an hour.
From platform 5 they leave every ..16, ..46 so 13.16, 13.46 etc.
Every ..40 (13.40, 14.40 etc.)there is a international train to Brussels from platform 4 this one will take you in 40 min. to Rotterdam cause it skips the stop in Leiden, you can use this train with your ticket.
