It was not very easy to get there on public transport. We have to take the train or underground to Alexander station. Then walk for about 1 km to reach the hotel. We walked pass a housing estate which makes us wonder whether we are in the right direction.
When we reached the hotel, we did not regret coming here for the hospitality and comfort.
Our room price included a 3 course dinner and a buffet breakfast. The dinner was absolutely perfect! I had grilled pork for main course and it was the best grilled pork I have ever had. Still juicy and soft. The dessert was quite special. All the courses were nicely decorated.
Breakfast was fantastic too with very wide selection of both hot dishes and cold cuts. There was a few types of bread and cakes to choose from too. It was excellent.
The room we were assigned has a view of a pond. It was nice to watch the birds flying around the pond in the morning. Back to nature... The pond was partly frozen and I can see some birds standing on the ice.
I think in the summer, there are tables to dine beside the pond too. In the winter, just get a table inside the restaurant beside the pond.
Getting there:
Nearest station is Alexander Rotterdam. From the station, look for a overhead expressway and walk towards that direction, then immediately after the expressway, turn right to a footpath. Go all the way straight till you see the hotel across a main road.
