A stay at a cube house
A cheap stay at one of the most world famous building, at a great city?
Go to Rotterdam and sleep at one of the cube houses.

Wouldn't really advise this hostel. It is the same as the other stayok hostels we stayed in; lovely staff that are really helpful, good food at a cheap price, breakfast buffet included in the price. But, the walls are paper thin, and while we stayed there it seemed there were lots of groups; a large group of teenage/young girls, and a group of northern boys (young, football teams maybe?) and because the walls were so thin, all we heard were these groups calling to each other between the bathrooms, stomping up the stairs, and just general group noiseyness. Other than that, lovely hostel.
Unique Quality: Food comes with a side salad served in metal bowl the size you would give your dog. Can't help but be healthy here, if you eat it all!!

Hostel in Rotterdam
Literally 2 minutes walk to the main museums and Museum park, and 5 minutes the other way to the lively Nieuwe Binnenweg with lots of restaurants and colour locale. But also walkable to the city center and even Central Station. Although you could take metro or tram as well.
Depending on the period you're staying, prices are from € 20 per person per night (2007).

Directions:
From Central Station, take a metro direction Spijkenisse (blue line- Erasmusline), change at the 2nd stop (Beurs) to the red metro line (=Calandline), direction Schiedam. Get out at the 2nd stop (Dijkzigt) and cross the road (Rochussenstraat) to the hostel. For your orientation: Your final stop (Dijkzigt) is the same for Erasmus Medical Center.
