It's a nice hotel on the beach, which has different types of rooms, but no suites. Besides this, there's a swimming pool, gym, restaurants and bars. If you're lucky you may get a room with a view on the beach.
Carlton Beach Hotel Schevening: Hotel By the Beach

It was a rather unusually warm morning when I arrived at the Carlton Beach. To make matters worse, there were no air-condtioning or even a fan at the room I stayed. So had to open all the windows to get some fresh air in, but the problem was there was not much wind blowing and the temperature outside was like 32 degrees or something. So, after a quick shower, decided to head off for work.

The Carlton Beach was the first hotel that I stayed in outside of Canada or the United States. Lucky enough to get a seaside view that first trip, it inspired me to find an apartment in Scheveningen with a similar view when I finally moved to The Netherlands. Located at the end of tram line, there is literally nothing but dunes north of the hotel. To the south, the promenade starts and stretches down to the harbor. Well appointed rooms, the luxury is a bit much for my simple needs unless someone else is paying for the room.
