My place: Rent an appartment

Many people in Scheveningen rent their house to foreigners during the holidays and in summertime. Most of the houses are split in a little groundfloor appartment with a cosy garden and an upper apprtment with two levels. Some old fishing houses have only a ground floor and a little room upstairs. The houses are close to the beach. I also rent my house so you can ask me. Or otherwise, ask at the VVV on Gevers Deynootweg for an appartment.

Unique Quality: You can check out my own place at Neptunusstraat, which is 500 metres from the beach, the boulevard and the Kurhaus. Oposite the Scheveningen Museum, close to the swimming-pool. Large livingroom with widescreen tv and dvd player, your own kitchen. Upstairs a bathroom with shower and seperate bath, two sleeping rooms. Enough place for 3-5 persons.

Boulevard Hotel: Best view best price

The rooms and the hotel are just (2004) renewed. The hotel look great from the inside and the outside. Try room 11 and 12 for the best seaview!!

Badhotel: Not so "bad" after all

I was a bit worried booking room in this hotel, after all, hotel with such a name can be a real disaster. But the price was cheap and the location very close to the sea. Plus, I knew that the word "bad" in Dutch simply means bath, which also explained by the location.

For the price of about 65Euro we got a pretty big room with shower, TV, phone, coffee table etc. Although located on the main road the rooms are very quiet so you won't be bothered by the noise that trams and cars usually create.

The staff was nice and friendly and of course spoke perfect English.

Badhotel has bar and restaurant inside, but my stay in Scheveningen was too short this time and I can't give any tips about the food and drinks quality at the hotel.
