Kurhaus hotel
The Kurhaus hotel is the oldest hotel in Scheveningen. It dates back in 1818. Jacob Pronk build it as a bathhouse.
There are 245 rooms and 8 suites.
Unique Quality: It is a great building to look at.

Fantastic looking Hotel!
My Netherlands' friends took me to Scheveningen for a day trip from Amsterdam, and we walked on the beach a little up to the pier, and we saw this amazingly complex looking Hotel nearby. Their website says it is 5 Star with many fine attractions. It is in a beautiful place right on the boulevard and close to the pier.

I got the opportunity to stay there because of a Spanish fashion crew. For 12 days we worked for the Spanish magazine El Corte Ingles and stayed over in the beautiful Kurhaus. We enjoyed all of the facilities, thanks to the Spanish fashion crew ...

Sparkling centre of Scheveningen
The Kurhaus hotel is the sparkling centre of Scheveningen. The hotel is very luxurious and has all the facilities that you can imagine. I stayed in teh Kurhaus one night together with my wife. As we got married there, we stayed in the honeymoon suite. And to be honest: is was a disappointment (the room). It's full of tastless "Kitsch" (as the Germans say). Contrary to the rest of the hotel, it has no style. We would have preferred any of the other rooms; which really are beautiful.
The Kurhaus hotel is situated right in the centre of Scheveningen so everything is within walking distance. And the tram lines to The Hague stop right in fron of the Kurhaus.

Steigenberger Kurhaus Hotel
This hotel being a 5* de luxe, it can't be bad.
Unfortunately I didn't have the pleasure (yet) to stay there although their off-season Sunday night tarriff isn't that bad (compared to their rack rate).
Unique Quality: Great location, on the beach boulevard.
