Z.O.Buitensingel naast de Kerk en het Hospice Wallon

Wat is daar voor in de plaats gekomen nadat ze afgebroken zijn en ook tegenover het Hospice waar wij s'avonds vanuit ons bed op onze tenen alle mooie gewaden van de bezoekers konden bekijken en commentaar geven.
Inwoner en grootvaders familie van het Hospice Wallon, data: 1882-1900, 1950-1952.

Cafe Wiener Konditorei

I went with my friend to this cafe in Korte Poten in The Hague (the backyard of the Parliment).
This cafe is famous for their homemade 'Apple Strudel' and 'Sacha Torte'(chocolate cake).
Not forgetting their nice coffee too.
You can buy this cake from their cafe too, if you like to take it home and enjoy it with your friends and family.
Very good quality for the price you pay for those fresh bakeries. All those cafes and eateries around The Hague, so many choice for a person who likes to sample different kinds of food.
Just went there with my friends lately for a cup of nice coffee and cake.
A bit disappointed, as their cakes are not as tasty as before, especially their famous chocolate cake. Am wondering why?

See the Castalia, better known as the "Two Brests Of Lady Hague", the Atrium and the Hoftoren, photographed here from centre of The Hague. I just had to wait for the traffic light, and got struck by the beauty of the best-known buildings of The Hague against the blue sky during sunset . So I had to jump out of the car, take the photograph, jump in again and rush away. Never thought the pic would come out like this ...

Castalia - Atrium - Hoftoren By origin I donot care for a skyscraper-city line. I used to live in Rotterdam, and I never looked up in the sky. But travelling from The Hague to Germany for my make-up bookings I got the happy emotions watchin' the skyline of The Hague from distance when returned ... every time included with sunset.

United nations monument

Near of Vredespaleis you can see this monument. It symbolized united nations. The idea was in 2004 that every nations sent the stone here. If I remember rightly there are 149 stones. Near by there is table where you can see what country "laid" in the circle of the stones.
