MADURODAM shows also the middle-age architectures of Amsterdam, Utrecht, Amersfoort, Delft, Deventer. MADURODAM: On this picture you can see how all the details are on scale: houses, cars, canals and even the trees. This is a model town-part of Amsterdam, at the right you can see 'de Magere Brug', the famous old bridge. If you made a tour in Amsterdam by boat through the canals, you will recognize it.

Do love billboard posters! Those huge photographs which decorate the city. Well, sometimes those billboards do deface a particular hot spot. Not mentioning the graffiti ... This one we could not figure out what it was about. It is saying "Gusty, everybody is talking about it ..."! And we never got the clue what was discussed about ... is funny huh?
Let me tell you that the word "Gusty" sounds like the Javanese "Gusti", which is a sort of title for noble people (males and females). In these times I had some exhibitions, some lectures about the Javanese Southern Sea Goddess. So we imagined the 2 fishes tattled about the Sea Goddess, using the word of "Gusti"...
It worked, and I had a great exhibition !!!
