The Hotel IBIS is about the same distance from the Centraal Station as from the Holland Spoor Station. In either case it’s about 15 minutes of brisk walking. Both time I stayed there, I was on the top (seventh floor) looking North towards the centrum (see picture). The room was clean, with a large bed (unusual in The Netherlands). The bathroom looked like it was a module that had be constructed elsewhere and transported into the room somehow. None-the-less the bathroom was spotless although utilitarian. There is a good breakfast buffet provided on the second floor. However, I got the impression that not all room rates included the breakfast buffet, so be sure to ask if your rate includes breakfast.
