Even though I live in The Hague, I've stayed in this hotel once and it was lovely. It is in a great location, in the middle of the old centre, with beautiful rooms and very good service. I highly recommend it for a 'romantic' break...
very nice old building dating back to the 17th century, luxurious rooms with antique furniture and exclusively designed curtains. A real 'boutique' hotel. The breakfast was also excellent.
This is one of the prettiest hotels i have stayed in in urban environment. Some of the rooms have recently been renovated and are decorated in the most tasteful way. Located in the haert of the old town, there are many facilities around the block (restaurants, bars, shopping, etc.). The major sightseeing venues, such as the binnehof or the Royal Palace are not far aswell.
We had a very friendly and helpful recpetionist who even helped to provide aspirine on a sunday night.
Finally the breakfast buffet included healthy and tasty food, fresh juices, fruit and freshly cooked american breakfast.
I can only recommend thias hotel, especially to those travellers who are not keen on staxing in often sterile and huge big chain hotels!
We had a lovely view on a green coourtyard and over the rooftops of the hague.
