Hostel at the airport

Gardermoen Airport Vandrerhjem is located on the west side of Oslo Airport, about 5 km from the terminal. Gardermoen Cultural Park with Ullensaker Museum, the Norwegian Armed Forces Aircraft Collection and the SAS Museum is located not far from the hostel.

The hostel has 92 rooms. The rooms are simple with shower and toilet. Standard rooms have flat screen TV. The superior rooms has a kitchen equipped with hot oven plates, refrigerator and microwave. There are also some bedroom apartments for up to 6 people. Extra beds are available upon request.

Travel Tips for Gardermoen

For passengers in transit to other cities

It is bit a tedious, but all transit passengers to other cities in Norway must disembark to their first entry port and reclaim the checked-in baggage to customs clearance. Even thought it is the same airline. Pick up your checked-in luggage in the basement and walk through the customs. Then take the moving staircase or elevator to the departure hall and go to the airlines counter. For Scandinavian Airlines, just leave your luggage in the baggage-drop and go to gate.
