Hemsedal, and where to stay!

"Smooth slopes with large tracks"
Here a typical image of one of the "hytter" were we stayed during easter holiday april 2003.
They were part of Moella Sportell. But as the popularity of the resort is booming it has since been taken over by a another group of investors.
Snowquality on the tracks remained good all this time. Down in the valley however spring had decisively gained over winter!
From this complex you can easely (2 miles) reach the village center of Hemsedal on foot for your groceries or souvenirs. Skibusses can also be used!
"Winter 2003"
As I mentioned earlier it the tracks still were very well prepared for skiing.
"Winter 2006"
Earlier in the season (Februar) three years later, the days in Hemsedal are shorter. But this is compensated by nightskiing (or boarding) by artificial light on the main tracks. This however this is at extra costs.
Romantics are intvited!
