Weather in Alta in September?

We're traveling to Alta this September. Need most reasonable fares from Copenhagen to Alta and need to know what is the average temperatures at that time.

The average temperature in Alta in September is 7 degrees celcius.

Alta is about 2,5 hours by plane from Oslo Gardermoen Airport and you can choose between the new company SAS Braathens (merger of SAS and Braathens) and Norwegian Air shuttle. If you are travelling from Copenhagen you will have to change planes in Oslo. I would assume that SAS Denmark/SAS Braathens would be able to give you the cheapest price for Copenhagen - Oslo - Alta and you would not even be forced to pick up your baggage in Oslo to check in for the last leg of the trip.

I checked for you and I would actualle recommend that you use SAS Denmark on the Copenhagen - Oslo leg and then switch to Norwegian to go to Alta from Oslo. This will set you back about 500 NOK for each leg and is extremely cheap. :)

Norway is a fascinating country with a gorgeous nature. Alta is one of the most north place in Norway and even if im not so into the nature this place was so beautiful! And for someone who likes to go fishing its a place you should go... the rivers are beautiful and the water is clean like springwater.... I just say aahhh... relaxing palce!

Alta river is to many seen as the Mecca of salmon fishing and to achieve some hours or days fishing in this world famous river is quite an achievement. She is together with the Namsen the most famous salmon river in Norway and one of the best known worldwide.
