Environmental friendly hotel in Alta "city center"
This hotel claims they are the only EU-approved environmental friendly hotel in Norway. I'm not sure how much that will influence the guests, except that the coffee is ecological. But I guess there is more to it, and probably a good thing.
The location is in the so-called city center of Alta. But Alta is a small and widespread kind of town. And I hope your not visiting Alta for its shopping or nightlife. If you want a view of the lake and mountains, this is not the hotel.
The service was very good. It was really a great atmosphere, and you feel that you are visiting someones home.
The room was very nice and a good standard. I had no view from my window, but in Alta center you can hardly get any nice views at all. If you don't fancy watching cars parking.
The hotel had free bikes, and if you don't have a car with you, this is a very good thing.
The price actually included a nice norwegian "kveldsmat". Just like breakfast - only in the evening. You could also get yourself coffee and frie waffels at any time - for free.
Unique Quality: Free bikes and breakfast both in the morning and the evening. And free coffee and waffels 24 hours a day.
You really feel like you are visiting someone. Great atmosphere.

A nice hotel in the city center
This hotel is located downtown Alta.
The staff is very friendly and the hotel is ok.
