I did not stay at Arrans when I visited Kamøyvær in 1983 (I don't think they had opened yet), since my brother lived in Nordvågen appr. 15 kilometers away by that time. But from the linked pdf brochure it looks like a nice alternative if you want to spend some time on Magerøya, and not just go up to see North Cape.

Fortunately, a short stay, just one night on the way to North Cape.
The hotel consists of pre-made blocks, and looks more like a militar barrakon or bunker than a place to rest.
Inside the small rooms look somewhat like taken from Pinochio tale, small green wood beds Tundra all around
