 | Nordkapp Reviews | Tips 1 - 8 of 8 | | This campground is the most nordest campground of Europe. You can also stay in little wooden houses if you want, but I stayed in my little tent. The campground is right next to the final road to the Nordkapp. Dont expect luxery, its just for one nigth and you can use the shower, and that is about it. Leave a Comment

It's possible to camp in a tent (could get very cold at night, though, even in summer), rent a cabin, a double room or a family room. If you stay in a tent or the cheapest cabins there are sanitary houses and a guest kitchen available. These are very clean, but you'll have to pay extra to use the shower. This campground is one of the closest accomodations to the Nordkapp-plateau you can find. It's not particulartly beautiful; the landscape this far north is very barren, but charming in it's own way. Since we traveled with our motor home, we didnt' have to go to the camp. The parking place is very big so you'll have no problems to find a place for your car. There are a lot of tourists and maybe you'll meet a friend from your town who you hadn't seen for years. This happened to me - I met a friend who lives 1 km from my home in Ljubljana. A very special place to stay If you like beeing cramped up next to hundreds of other camping vehicules then stay on the parking lot of the norht cape. Of course this only works with camper vans and caravans. The only facilities up there are the toilets in the North Cape visitors centre.
Having hundreds of neighbours... Leave a Comment Theme: Campground

Rica Hotel Honningsvag is one of the three Rica Hotels you can find in here. It is a summer hotel centrally located. The rooms are clean and they have shower/bath, TV, desk and telephone. Leave a Comment

At the North Cape you find numerous campgrounds. We didn't camp on an official campground. We set up the tent on roadside. It was very windy and it didn't have more then 3°C (37°F). My friend prefered to sleep in the car while I was sleeping in the tent. I couldn't drive the tent-pegs in the ground because of the solid schist layer that is all over the island. At 5 am I was waken by gales of a storm. It almost blew the tent away and make me feel like milk in a shaker. Leave a Comment Theme: Campground

The Nordkapp Hotel is located in world's northernmost fishing village Skarsvag. It is 14 km away from the North Cape. We didn't stay here but we breakfasted here. A huge buffet was offered with continental and local speciallities. The price of 200 NOK (25 €) for two persons was quite moderate in comparison to prices of restaurants in North Norway. Cozy hotel located right at the northen cape. A great great experience. Small rooms furnished and decorated as rustic cabins but very modern and charming. Plus a magnificent restaurant.
