I usually find that the discount cards available to tourists in most cities, are rather poor value for money - unless you want to rush around to a gazillion museums in one day. However, I *do* actually think it's a good idea for most tourists to get the Bergen Card - with this card you get free bus travel within the city limits, free parking, and discounts or free admittance to most museums and attractions - this includes a free return ticket (normal price: 70 nok) with Fløibanen (the funicular), a definite must-do for all tourists coming to Bergen..!

The Bergen card can be purchased at the Tourist Information Office, at many hotels, the Railway Station, and at Bergen Express Boat Terminal. You can also get it online, at http://www.bergen-travel.com.
