Grand Hotel Terminus

I had two stays in the Hotel Grand Terminus in Sep 2007. It is not even a minutes walk from the station! It is literally just over the road. This is very handy if you want 0758 train to Oslo!

If arriving in Bergen by ferry it is about 15 minut walk to Grand Terminus - and its a pleasant walk taking you past Bryggen and through the centre of Bergen.

It is quite well appointed hotel when you look at the cumunal bits, rooms are comfortable, but single rooms not always that big. This did not bother me too much as I take the line that you should be out and about exploring as time is limited! Hotels are just for eating, sleeping and showering in my humble opinion!

Also within walking distance of the Greig Hall and a shopping centre.

Unique Quality: Literally a stone's throw from the railway station ! It is just over the road.

This is a very beautiful hotel, central located next to train station but very quiet inside.
It´s really beautiful, for those who like classical design you´re gonna love it.
The rooms are big ,clean and confortable. The bathroom is big and clean too and has everything you need.
The breakfast is plentiful and excelent.
The staff is qualified
And if you arrived there by car they have private parkering .
