Gullaksen Eiendom

I stayed here one night in August and it was very nice. The rooms are very spacious (my room had a double bed, wardrobe, bed-side tables, couch, coffee table, book shelf and armchair - and there was still plenty of room to move around) and the bathrooms were clean (not en-suite, but some bathrooms are for certain rooms only). They could do with buying some new sheets for the bed (they weren't dirty, just looking a bit old), but that would be my only complaint.

Unique Quality: Nothing completely outstanding about Gullaksen, but it is nice and in the centre of Bergen, only 5 mins walking to the train station, 1 min to the bus stop that goes to the airport - so everything is within an easy walking distance.

Had very good communication with owner (in English) as we were coming into Bergen late at night.

Unique Quality: Cheap, nice, in the town centre located on the first floor of a shop that sells furs! This place might only be open during the summer vacation as I believe it is used as lodging for students the rest of the year.
