Ole Bull by Marpessa
The picture is of Ole Bull (1810-1880) and can be found at Ole Bullsplass, Bergen. To be honest when I took this picture I had no idea of who 'Ole' was, I just thought the statue and fountain were beautiful.It was only when I got home that I found out Ole Bull was/is a famous violinist from Bergen who "entertained a strong conviction that Norway should generate its own national art"
