Rorbua: Very nice rorbu in Bud

A "rorbu" was originally a house used by the fishermen. The house is located near the sea, and on the groundfloor is a place for put the boat and clean the fish. In the second floor are the bedrooms, bathroom, salon and kitchen.

This "rorbu" was very nice with two bedrooms, and a great view of the sea. 10 min walking from the center of Bud. You could follow the road, but its much better to follow the path along the coast. Just follow the signs marked "kyststi" and you will have excellent photo opportunities around every corner!

We never tried the boat, but others who had stayed there before had gone out with the boat and caught lots of fish.

Price of the house (incl boat) is about 100 euro pr night in high season, which is what other similar houses also charge. Still cheaper than a hotel and a lot more charming!

A: "Heisan! Håper du får opphold på Bud, da i hvert fall.... Det er så flott der ute, atte, men du skulle ha vært der midtsommers, med lyset og alt... Selve Bud er ikke mye..."
