Hotel Union Øye: "A Piece of Paradise"

I was invited to a wedding at this hotel a couple of years ago. One can hardly imagine a more wonderful setting to such a romantic event.

Service and food was excellent.

Unique Quality: The whole building is brought back to it's Glory Days with taste and skill. All 27 rooms, most of them with four-poster beds, are deliberately without TV, radio and telephone. I stayed in Karen Blixen's old room. She even left a pair of old boots here.

They have their very own ghost. Of you sleep in The Blue Room, you get a silver-bowl with garlic to reassure a good night sleep...
