    There are several fishing villages in the Lofoten. Most of them have small hotels where you can stay. I was staying at the Rica hotel in Svolvaer and I think this is the best option. It is housed in traditional red-wooden pavillions on the port.

    • The accommodations were sparse but comfortable here. It was a unique experience to wake up and look across the water to see other fishing cabins (my photo for Svolvær).

    We have rented a cabin with four beds - 400 NOK. No cooking facilities or shower inside the cabin. The kitchen of the campgound had no cooking ustensils. Otherwise the location was very beautiful and in the summer it must be a great spot for fishing.

    Very beautiful cabins with large living rooms overlooking the sea.
    We have stayed in a cabin with two rooms - four beds. Shower and cooking facilities. No cable tv. Price 700 NOK.
