Furuhaugli Turisthytte: Hiking and bird watching at 1007 meters

Unique Quality: Furuhaugli an excellent camping site for everybody who likes outdoor activities summer or winter, or for a stopover on a road trip along Norway. There are 23 cabins for rent with variable pricing according to standard, 85 electrical outlets for camper vans and facilities for emptying RV toilets. Hiking trails and cross country ski trails start there, and downhill arenas are in Dombås (15 km) and Oppdal (60 km). During the summer season there is a horseback riding school at the site. There are fishing and hunting possibilities, and rafting in Dombås and Oppdal. Bicycles and boats can be rented at the camping site. Musk ox, wild reindeer and moose can be seen, and the bird watching in Fokstumyra is spectacular!

The closest grocery store is in Dombås 15 km away. But there is a small shop at the site where you can cover your basic needs. Opening hours for the store and the cafeteria are 7 am - 11 pm. For late arrivers there is a bell by the door :-)
