Attached to the Anker Hotel and just around the corner is the Anker Hostel...much cheaper, of course, although still quite dear. We got a gorgeous, spacious, recently renovated twin room with a fantastic ensuite, and kitchen facilities. The smell of wood was gorgeous. The beds were comfy enough, and the windows were double glazed. Temps were about 6ºC outside but inside we were toasty. Although the central heating does dry out your skin and dehydrate you...it seems to be left on at night...thankfully, there's a fridge in the room to store drinks. We also had 2 chairs and a table. On our final night, there was a mix up and we ended up in a 4 bed dorm...standard not as good..possibly not as new as the other room...but very spacious, and with lockers (no locks) in the room. Very good!
