 | Linne Hotel: cheap at weekends...

part of our room by call_me_rhia Admittedly it is not the most central hotel in Oslo, nor in the most scenic area. Hotel Linne is about 15 minutes from the centre, by underground (which eventually run above the surface). There are some small wooden houses in the area, a few blocks of flats (not too high) and several industries - thus the hotel is geared towards the business travellers. If you go at weekends it's a good choice because rooms are "heavily"discounted and the hotel is half empty..
A large spacious room with sofa and armchairs... a bit anonymous but really comfortable. There's also cable TV, a hairdryer and iron (+ ironing board). Breakfast is in the form of buffet - and it's very rich - with cold meats, cheese, cereals, several types of bread and jam, bacon, eggs and all the lot.
