Cheap, good and right in the centre!
I have not stayed here myself, but have used this hotel when accommodating guests to my job. I have seen the rooms, talked with the reception folks and gotten feedback from my guests.
The hotel is fairly new, in an refurbished old city building. The name is not very imaginative and is sounds like a parking lot. The rooms are smallish and simply styled, but has exactly what you need if you are here to explore the office and will not try to spend your entire day inside the room.
Cannot beat this one in terms of cost when you consider the location.
Unique Quality: Located right in the centre of Oslo, 1 block from Karl Johan street between the parliament and the central government buildings. Access by foot to several theatres, restaurants, shops etc.
They serve a packaged breakfast (included) that you order the day before, to be delivered at your door. The rooms has facilities for making coffee/tea and a toilet and shower room. There is a conference room and a sitting area at street level, but other facilities are limited.
There is nothing romantic or sightseeingy about the nearest surroundings, and the hotel door sort of dumps you right on a heavily trafficed street, but all this is reflected in the cost.
The hotel provides a free wireless network.

Great Location!
The best thing about the hotel is the location. It's within walking distance of the wharf (Aker Brygge), several attractions, Karl Johans Gate shopping area, restaurants, etc.
It was a nice enough room – a little small but we had English TV and an internet connection. Through the lobby was a deli with all kinds of food, drinks, and snacks. Breakfast was hung on your door each morning - croissant, piece of fruit, and a juice pack. Rooms was clean, quiet, and comfortable.
I would stay here again and recommend it as well.

Cheap and best hotel
P-Hotels Oslo,all the room are non-smoking.But we can smoking at backyard in 2nd floor.
Breakfast-sandwich,orangejuice and an apple- is delivered on your door within 06.30.a.m. That's very good.
I stayed double room.There are a medium-sized bed, cable TV, shower, kettle and a limited selection of coffee/tee.
At 1st floor,there are deli in the store.that's so convinient!

P Hotel
P Hotel is a rather new hotelchain which according to themselves focuses on the "P's" - referring to central placing, price, product, personal service and quality procedures. Whatever their lingo is - they have a good product where you can get a room in a very central part of Oslo for a good price. The rooms are fairly modern and fresh looking - especially considering the good price. Wireless internet is available for free everywhere in the hotel as well. This is a good choice hotel unless you are looking for something very fancy and exclusive.
