Lovely located historical hotel
I stayed at this hotel during my business trip to Rogaland. It offers a great combination: close to Stavanger/Sola airport (less than 2 km), but yet in natural lovely surrounings (beach 150 m).
The hotel is historical, built in early 20th century, completely wooden. So don't expect anything super modern. I liked the flair a lot and I felt great there. If you are used to those big chain hotels, you might not like it so much.
Service was mixed, between poor and average for international standard, which means between ok and good for norwegian standard.
Breakfest buffet is adequate and rather cozy. You can eat dinner in the hotel restaurant. IMHO prices are too high and you are not that stuffed after the dinner, even if dishes are tasty.
Unique Quality: This hotel points high because of its location and view of the sunset over the ocean. Very romantic and special.
Also the open fire in the dining room is very special.
