This hotel looks a bit dated on the outside, but the inside it looks like the reception, restaurant and rooms has been renovated not to long ago. I stayed in a premium room, which had hardwood floors, that was a nice change of pace for hotels that normally have wall-to-wall carpets, but I don't think all the rooms had that. The breakfast was very good. But if you need to get a cab ask the reception to order one for you, if not you might be waiting for a long time.
Directions: Right next to the airport runway.
I have never stayed on this hotel, but been there several times on courses and conferences. The hotel has a very good reputation among the big companies in the area. Conference facilities are very good, and so is the food. It is a nice place to stop for lunch after a sightseeing around the airport area, a walk on the beach Solastranden, surfing etc. The location close to the airport makes it a good choice if coming in late or leaving early. The hotel lets out bikes for free, there is wireless broadband all over, and there is an 18 hole golf course close by which is open all year round (not very common in Norway!)
Directions: The airport shuttle bus stops right outside.
