Here you can find a view
Quite new hotel, a little bit far from town centre, but as it is the tallest hotel in the town you can get a nice view from breakfast room on the top (was it 21st floor). Very typical business hotel and expensive compared to same sized towns in Europe (2012 April, net reservation 4290NOK/2 nights).

Uncentral with a nice view
This is a nice hotel with a pleasant atmosphere and nice staff. It is located next to the exhibition center which is nice if you are in town for an exhibition, but this hotel is a located a bit outside of the city, I am guessing about 30 minutes walk, 5 minutes in a cab.
Unique Quality: Very tall building compared to other buildings in Stavanger, breakfast restaurant is on the top floor.
Opinion of Price: less expensive than average

Stavanger
I stayed in this hotel on two occasions.
Positives: Its the tallest hotel in Stavanger. Rooms are avarage size for Norway. Not too small not too big. very modern and up do date inc internet ect. Restaurant has a very good menu. Breakfast is served on the top floor with a suround view over Stavanger and surounding area,s. Church below and excelent large conferance facilities.
I would recomend leaving your car at the hotel car park when visiting Stavanger. Parking can be a problem, Prices for parking are expensive compared to the rest of the planet.
Negatives: Bad sound proofing in rooms at the top of the hotel below the breakfast restaurant which is also booked for weddings ect. I am a painter/Decorator. I was not impressed with the bad plaster/Mud work and cheap paper used on the walls for an otherwize expensive restaurant. Also this hotel is a very long walking distance from the center of town. 10 minutes on a bus gets you there however there is a large shopping mall near by in Madla.
Unique Quality: View from the top breakfast restaurant is excelent. Conferance facilities and parking is impresive! Great for church goers, Especialy youth as the biggest and most active church sits underneath. Not related to hotel but they do share conference facilities as this one is equiped with the very best I have come across in Norway! (State Lutheran)
Easy access & closer to the airport in Sola and the ferry terminal in Tananger if traveling to Denmark or Kristiansand by boat.

Hotel is outside the centre of Stavanger, you can walk it, but you need about 45 minutes to an hour. The hotel is nice, rooms and bathroom are a bit small, but clean. The window is across the the whole wall. Breakfast is good. If you are able to walk into town, then it is a nice hotel to stay, you also can go into town by car and park in the centre of Stavanger.
Unique Quality: Hotel has the best view in town. From the 21st floor you can see Stavanger and the surroundings, excellent.

Stavanger`s nicest hotel!
This hotel is built in 2003, and you`ll soon see that the facilities are brand new. Lovely surrondings with a park and artmuseum nearby. The service is great! You won't miss anything. Lovely furnitured rooms, and superb food! A good choice if you wan't to stay in Stavanger for long.
Unique Quality: The tallest building in Stavanger, providing it with the most outstanding wiew any building in Stavanger may offer. Though it's nothing compared to the hotels in the States and Asia, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. The most unique experience is having a meal in the top-floor-resturant! Here you can just sit back and relax the good wiew.
