Bårdshaug Herregård: In old style, high end in Orkanger
This is the residence of the industrialist and diplomat Christian Thams, converted into a museum cum hotel. An oddity in this parts, but facinating place, and takes you into the life of the upper class of a 100 years back.
Unique Quality: comfortable rooms, conference centre, lots of interesting history spelled out in rooms and halls, library.
good food, local flavour.
