Hotel with mining history
A very nice hotel in a calm side street in the center of Røros is the Erzscheidergården. The rooms are very cosy and clean. From the hotel you have less then 5 minutes to the Smelthytta, so it is perfectly located for exploring the town. The staff is very friendly and helpful
The Erzscheidergården offers a nice breakfast and in the rooms you have wifi. I enjoyed my stay of two nights and would stay here again in case I would visit Røros a second time.
Unique Quality: A unique quality of the hotel is for sure the location as a historic building in the center of a very beautiful historic mining town, which is inscribed on the list of UNESCOs World Heritages.
