Vaektarstua: Cosy and friendly...and great food!
The only place to stay in Stugudal, this is a more a guesthouse than a hotel. Remodeled and wings added here and there, it has kept much of its rustic ambience. Chaep, affordable, andmost of all, lots of local food, self-picked berries, self-caught mountain trout....a great place to stay.
Mind you, no TV in the rooms, not even a phone, but otherwise clean, neat and comfy.
But the again, who needs a TV with that kind of landscape all around.
