Our queen lodged here, so it must be good enough!
It is a little hotel run by the family Hjelle since 1896. Hjelle is situated at the Strynsvatnet lake. A large area along the lakeshore belongs to the hotel. This hotel has 62 beds. It is situated in the Nordfjord region and is only 50 km away from the town of Geiranger and its fjord. Also the glaciers of Jostedalsbreen National park are in this area. The visitorcentre of this park is only 5 km away.
Also you can ski in the summer nearby at Strynefjellet only 20 km away. It is not expensive. It is a nice and cosy little place. Very friendly people. Very nice view on the Strynsvatnet(lake)
