Hellesylt Balestrand--I have found the route from Hellesylt to Styrn 7:25 am- 8:25 I can't find any routes from Styrn to Fjaerland or Flam or any any connecting towns that have ferries to Balestrand. Any help? Helen, you wrote it is possible, but I can't find it. thanks, Lizzer22
Stryn, not Styrn. Which time of the year? Now? Some of this bus routes drive on roads that are not open in the winter. Or are you talking about boats? Some of them certainly only run in the summer season. Wher have you searched? Try http://www.fjord1.no/ for boats and http://www.ruteinfo.net/frame.aspx?id=11807 for buses
Nordfjord is a paradise for fishing fans.
Eidselva River is a good salmon river and there's also plenty of fish in the Eidsfjord.
Fishing permits are available for salmon and trout are available.
The fjord lakes located on the fjord arms and valleys are offering good opportunities for inland fishing and also good stocks of trout and char.
Stryn has a long tradition in fishing, the first tourists coming in this area for salmon fishing in the 1860s.
