Baranow Caste: A room in the castle

Holy Toledo!! As soon as we opened the door our mouths fell open. We could have held a dance in the room we were given. There was an entire dining room set in the middle of the room, a living room grouping with TV and coffee pot in another corner, sleigh style beds with overstuffed chairs standing by. The bathroom was a wonderful marble space with jacuzzi bath, a shower that had multiple shower heads, and a huge window decked out in a very fancy curtain arrangement. I particularly noticed the quiet when I awoke in the morning...and the absolutely fresh, glorious pure air! Get away from the city and enjoy it.

Castle Hotel: Hotel rooms in the castle

Janet (pawtuxet) and I stayed at the castle for a weekend - who could resist this idea if 2 weekend nights are available at 40% discount?
Our double room across the courtyard was so spacious that we joked we would not be able to find our belongings. You could easily make three rooms out of this one. The room had stylish furniture, some of them replicas and some were original old pieces; and the bathroom was state-of-the art with a jacuzzi tub! The view on the one side was to the courtyard, and to the English park on the other. And it was so quiet there! For your breakfast you need to take 3 minute's walk to the other hotel within the complex.
Our double room's discounted price was 210 zloty (less than $70) per weekend night. On weekdays be prepared to spend 350 zloty (about $115).

We were glad to find electric kettle and cups in the room as well as some complimentary mineral water, tea and coffee.

Hotel Zamkowy Baranow Sandomierski: A hotel within the castle complex

The hotel is within the castle complex so it is quiet and relaxing... Clean neat rooms and bathrooms, delicious buffet breakfast, accommodating staff and pleasant service... what else would you need? A pool table on the groundfloor if you fancy a game, and a small nightclub in the basement if you like some fun. Enough parking space, but they charge 5 zloty ($1.60).
Single room = 170 zloty ($54)
Double room = 250 zloty ($78)
NOTE: 40% discount offered for weekends if at least 2 nights.
There are a few rooms also in the castle but they are more expensive (40% discount on 2 weekend nights also applies).
