Seba Apartment: Great self-service apartment

by swolf

Three of us stayed for 5 nights and were always grateful for the location. We were only a couple blocks from the Rynek and just the same to the Jewish Quarter. If I was to go back I would stay there again. They had internet and a small kitchen. However the downsides were a slow drain in the shower (we also found to be common elsewhere) and quite updated but perfect for living like a typical Polish Apt. If you are expecting luxury, this is not it. However if you are looking for a great, clean, perfect location apartment, then I think this is a great place. It was a little strange with a wire transfer deposit and meeting the landlord with cash at the front door when you got there, but everything worked out and the owner seemed really nice. We booked with inturs.net.

The apt was www.apartementseba.pl

Decor & Balcony. Plus internet.

CZARNY POTOK: A LOVELY HOTEL

by alyf1961

Czarny Potok is a lovely hotel in Zakopane in the south of Poland near the Slovakian border. It is a short walk from the main street in Zakopane. The rooms are comfortable; ours had a double bed, a single bed and a balcony. The food was traditional and delicious. We were able to try beetroot soup [delicious] and potato pancakes whilst we were there. There was a 24 hour bar with a selection of drinks including coffee.

The hotel has a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi.

very professional staff.good food, nice room and close to main square!

Chopin: Krakow hotel Chopin

by paulfineart

This hotel is clean and functional with a nice breakfast and a good restaurant but is a little over priced especially the restaurant which we used when arriving late.It is claimed the hotel is within 5mins walk of the old town but it is 5-10 mins by tram and at least 30mins walk. The tram system is very cheap and good although always overcrowded. We did not see any facilities for wheelchair or other less abled travellers on the trams. We felt safe at night even in the early hours although the 2mins walk through the park from the tram stop to the hotel might be different for a single person.

Qubus Hotel: Not too many hotel's in Gliwice Poland

by clockman

As I write this I am finishing my 1st week of a four week stay. I really do not have anything negative to say about this hotel. There is really nothing to say that is extremely interesting. It is a newer hotel about a few years old. The front desk people are very helpful and speak very good English. I must say the free breakfast is very good. It is the same everyday without any change at all. But they have 3 hot meats and scrambled eggs. They have fresh squeezed juices and fresh fruit. They also have an excellent selection of breads and natural grains. The room is a typical European hotel room when it comes to size. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is bright and the water is hot. A small TV it is rare to find any English TV so there is not too much TV watching going on.

www.apartments4u.pl: Online booking system security

by A4u

It's true that there are lots of similar systems across the net, most of them are ok to use. Just to let everybody know, www.apartments4u.pl is a very secure online booking system. Online payments go through a very well established service www.dotpay.pl that has all the necessary certificates to provide every customer with completely safe transaction up to the most demanding internet security standards. So no worries Apartments4u.pl is safe :)

Art Mont Guest House: Convenient, Quiet Spot

by DueSer

This guesthouse is a 10-15 minute walk from the main train station and a 5-10 minute walk from the city's main square, the Rynek Glowny. The rooms are clean and the area is a quiet residential area.

Rooms are located in a guest house in a courtyard behind the main house so things are very quiet and you have a lot of privacy.

Eden Hotel: Nice stay in Kazimierz

by ZafarOutdoors

Nice comfortable hotel in Kazimierz. You can walk around to the nearby attractions.
Checked in, went out about the town on foot until late night. Decent breakfast.

It's not just the hotel property, it's the area and its history and the overall experience.
