Hotel Portius: Comfortable accommodation
We came across this hotel for our one night stay via Sat Nav.
Just out of the town centre-a 3 star hotel with an exterior look of a motel.
In the grounds of the Galeria Portius Shopping Centre- with supermarket/bars etc.
36 rooms with 1 suite - 80 beds in total.
We booked 2 x twin rooms with breakfast.
Checking in was with a friendly professional receptionist- we were soon allocated the keys to our rooms, which were on the next floor up.
We planned to eat at the restaurant in the shopping centre, but in the end ate in the restaurant, and enjoyed a few drinks afterwards! The restaurant specialises in Polish and French food.
Looking at the Visitors book, this is a popular place for Sports teams and artistes to stay. The English Roses added their names!
Our twin room was quite comfortable. Twin beds, dressing table, storeage space, Television, hairdryer.
Bathroom- Shower cubicle, WC and wash basin. Towels and loo rolls.
There was a bar in the adjacent shopping centre, and there was some noise from customers leaving here, but it wasn't too obtrusive.
Free Parking in front of the hotel, which is off of the main road in the hotel grounds.
Internet: Free WIFI
Wheelchair Accessible: Yes
Payment Accepted: Maestro, Faktura, American Express, Gotówka, Diner's Club, MasterCard, Visa
The hotel has a Wellness and Fitness centre- (which we missed out on)!

Hotel Portius: Good accommodation
During our road trip, we hadn't intended to stop in Krosno but due to the flooding (during June 2010) we had our route redirected and ended up spending the night in Krosno.
Hotel Portius is a Travel Inn style hotel. Within our small group, we occupied two twin rooms which had adequate facilities and amenities.
The hotel had its own bar (where we enjoyed a relaxing evening) and restaurant.
Rooms were of a good standard and the rate included a buffet continental breakfast.
