We are on our Poland tour and travelling to different cities in Poland: Wroclaw, Cracow and Warsaw. After our long journey, we stopped in Legnica, which is conveniently located on the A4 motorway. We were staying at the Hotel Arkadia, which is a 3 star hotel not so far away from the city downtown area. The staff in the reception was extraordinary friendly, spoke English and showed us a nice place to go out for food and shopping and watch a movie in the downtown movie theater (By the way in English ;-)
We were also surprised of the big rooms and comfy beds. Breakfast was good, check-out very fast and we were back on the road... . Would stay there again.

Inside Legnica Theater 2004 Meeting of All Citizen
Now, I'm sharing with you guys some photos which have some sweet memories while I was in Legnica.
Here, you can see my friend Adam's place or rather his mum's place, he told me.
It's a small flat with flowers on the balcony !
I had the chance to meet his mum, his father & had the feel of a Polish family although for just a few hours...
This is my friend Adam !
Posing by his PC. he told me that he couldn't wait to get out from Legnica as the town didn't offer him anything. he had to see his own apartment & wanted to move out.
He is now in Australia; Had been studying for a year there to master his English.
He had visited me in KL on his way to Australia & he's a happy man & soon would be migrated for good there !
Adam, don't you miss Legnica ? Don't you miss your mum's cookings ?

I did show him VT & told him that he would see all my travel photos on VT.
I said to Adam that he had a hardcore Polish look, like the long lost King of Perussia !
He just laughed !
Adam also told me about his female friend in China called Pok !
He said whenever he thought of her name Pok, he would think of PORK !
We both laughed !
I hope one day Adam will eat his PO(R)K !

I took the train to Berlin from Legnica at about 3 AM. It was still dark then.
I couldn't sleep, my mind was thinking about all the sweet memories while I was in Poland ! Meeting nice people, staying with them, eating their foods, drinking their vodkas (not really !).
I felt kind of sentimental...
Outside the train, the sun was coming up & daylight was approaching...
I thought to snap one photo just for 'the good time' feel.
I didn't actually know WHERE the left photo was taken, could still be in Poland or could it be in Germany already ?
Let that be a mystery !
Well, Legnica is near Wroclaw, about 75 km. It is only a short train ride away !
Wroclaw is a beautiful city in Poland ! Filled with great sights & the most beautiful Town Square that I have been to in Poland ! When you are in Wroclaw, you must visit Legnica. If you happen to be in Legnica entering from Germany, please make sure you reach your way to Wrcoalw !MY WROCLAW PAGE
