Beautifull forests

I was there long time a go... 1994. If you ever go there you must go to sailing on river Dunajec, and also visit festival of folclor group... Usually this is in July. The people are just great and I still remember are guide Sofia, She was jus wonderfull.

"Nowy Sacz"

This was one of our stop offs between Krosno and Zakopane, we'd been trying to find a hypermarket/electrical shop that might sell a 'splitter' so we could listen to Junes i-pod AND view the Sat Nav at the same time-We struck gold here at the shopping mall-Europa 11.

It was a chance to refuel too- ice cream and chips-The Un-healthy option-but they were damn good!!!

Nowy Sacz is 98km from Zakopane, and 97km from Krakow. We'd had to do a circular detour the previous afternoon from Krakow due to the flooding, which had caused bridges to fall and roads to be closed, and resulted in us staying in Krosno overnight, instead of Zakopane, where we were heading for.

There was still evidence of the flood damage as we approached Nowy Sacz-, and there were quite a few sand bags piled up on the river bank
