Cytadela Park - Poznan is a beautiful inner-city island of greenery.
The latest work of Magdalena Abakanowicz, was raised in Poznan. This world - famous artist was for twenty-five years professor of the Poznan Academy of Fine Arts and will receive the first honorary doctorate of this academy. The multifugure sculpture consisting of 112 headless human figures cast in iron were placed in the Cytadela park. Although the park was once a military fortress and a part of it is now a military cemetery.
