Bargain lodging in Sopot

An original hotel built in 1909 this place retains its charm. A very good choice for couples & families with young children. This is not a place for party animals. The manager & reception speak English and are very helpful. There is no pool, room telephone, or elevator. They do have nice rooms in period decor. We enjoyed room 13 with a double bed, balcony, nice bath & towels. The location is perfect, right accross from the beach, a short walk up to the pier. If you don't require all the fancy stuff, this place is a good bargain for Sopot. We will definately return next time we visit Sopot. The morning breakfast is fine & they have a nice terrace for drinks. There are several good restaurants near by.
