Jelenia Gora
Jelenia Gora is a small and cosy city in the lower Silesia region, south-west in Poland. The Czech border is not far away. The name Jelenia Gora means Deer Mountain in Polish. And the mountain Karkonosze with ski resorts is not far away from the city. The population is 90,000 inhabitants. There are especially many older German tourists in Jelenia Gora because they lived there as children. This area of Poland was a German territory before World War II.
