Bridges
There are several islands in the city connected with the mainland by over 100 bridges and footbridges. This is much more than the number of bridges in Venice! Although there are no gondolas in Wroclaw

Is there a regular bus that runs between Wroclaw and Boleslawiec?
I'm also interested to know if there are buses between Boleslawiec and Liberec in Czech republic, as my main aim is to visit the Ceramic Factory in Boleslawiec, but the closest direct bus route I can find from Prague is to Wroclaw.
Thanks!
There are bus connection from Wrocław Main Bus Station (PKS, 10 direct per day to Zgorzelec via Bolesławiec) as well as railway one (from main station, PKP, 7 direct/day)

You can go also from Wroclaw to Boleslawiec directly by train. Here You can check times of departures:

I learned two Polish habits which I'm not proud of. One was jaywalking and another being late. At first I didn't like that I had to wait. But when I spend more time in Wroclaw I noticed that I'm always late as well :) I think that main reason why people were late was traffic jams but on the other hand Polish people are relaxed and they don't mind waiting others. Anyway it's always well-mannered to send message that you are not going to be on time even if it's common custom.
This Jewish cemetery was founded in 1856 and although its present condition is rather poor it's still worth visiting, because of its high historical value. There are about 12 thousand tombs and gravestones representing different styles. The inscriptions are mostly in Hebrew and German, but also in Russian, French, English and Polish. Here, in this cemetery, rest the remains of Edith Stein's parents and of many distinguished scientists, intellectuals, bankers, etc.
The cemetery is in Slezna Street.
Here, you have very large selection of season fruit and vegetables for a very cheap price. There is also one coffee and tea shop. They had such big selection of coffee and tea brands!
Also there are some florists, butcheries and chocolate vendors.
On the second floor there are some handicrafts and other items for sale.
The building was built in 1907 out of reinforced concrete. Quite fascinating construction.
The main attractions are situated in the center or near the center. If your hotel lies in the center you don't have to buy any tickets. The best way to discover Wroclaw is getting around on foot. Some signed walking routes have been installed on the Market Place and in the streets in the center. It's easier now to find some interesting buildings or views.
