Hotel is in an excellent location, steps away from the town square and all major places you can walk to from here The room was spacious and comfortable. It was a bit chilly a few nights and i was happy to see this hotel kept the heating on. All other hotels turned off their heat for the season because it was May. But the nights were chilly and i was happy the heat worked!
Hotel staff was nice and helpful, i got lost driving and they guided me to the hotel. They were helpful when i asked for directions to certain places as well.
IMPROVEMENTS THEY COULD MAKE:
The bathroom could use some updating, the room itself was ice, but the carpeting could use replacing. The shower was tiny, i could barely fit inside. There was virtually no counter space to put anything, the paint on the wall was a dull depressing color. They should replace the carpets in the room and renovate the bathrooms.
Directions: near square, walk down street near the big old medieval church
I stayed in Art Hotel twice in the span of 4 years. It has great location , very close to the Main Square (rynek). The rooms are not so big , but very clean and comfortable enough. The hotel has free internet acess (wireless) and the conection is very good.
The staff are OK, they are always in the mood of explaining things.
One note not to forget though: From the end of 2008 they don't accept foreign currency , nore is possible to change money in the Hotel.
The only bad thing is that if they(Hotel Staff) order a Taxi for you (I had to, since my flight was leaving 6:00 AM ) they will get you a shuttle that costs arround 60 PLN. Which is a rip off. Normal , usual axi from Hotel to airport should be around 40 PLN
Unique Quality: Lovely decorated from outside and inside.
Directions: 2 minutes walk from Main Square in the direction of northwest , very close to St.Elizabeth Church.
This four star hotel occupies two, beautifully restored, sixteenth-century buildings. It is located 200 meters from Old Market Square and Ratusz (City Hall). Hotel has surcharge (45 PLN per day) underground parking, you should use it because of limited parking space in the historic district. Kids stay free in parents room. Hotel has free WI-FI Internet in public places.

This is my tip for a romantic weekend in Wroclaw.
Unique Quality: A wonderful place to stay in the very heart of the city.
The hotel not only offers nice rooms but also wonderful pieces of art everywhere.
Six (mature) visitors revelled in the space and comfort of this hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean with lashings of hot water in the showers/baths.
Breakfast was an immense spread - get there early, spend an hour eating and still get out into the town for 9am!
We also used the hotel restaurant one evening - very good choice of menu, big helpings and excellent service but....the kitchen did close at 11pm and although we weren't rushed out of the restaurant we were too late ordering our desserts and missed out on what looked like great dishes.
We would unhesitatingly recommend this hotel to others. And, if back in Wroclaw, we'll be there again
Directions: About 90 seconds' walk to the main square and round the corner from a great jazz club and just opposite the craft market in Butchers' Street. FANTASTIC.
A nice blend of historic building, but with modern facilities.
Unique Quality: Converted Burgher's House, with first class facilities, combining modernity with antiquity.
Directions: Situated in the Old City, 150 metres from the Market Square.
