The Rest Of My Photos Around Wroclaw...
by coceng
These are the rest of the photos taken by me in Wroclaw. Accompanied by a friend, we went to this amazingly beautiful city in The Lower Silesia.
This city lieson the Odra River; The 4th Poland's largest city.
Me & Adam walked around Wroclaw & I felt that I should really spend more times in this beautiful place ! Everything around me was so beautiful interspersed with adorning statues & structures, great to my eyes !
One example I captured in the photo...
Good walking shoes or boots
by alancollins
Because of its history Wroclaw has more than its fair share or cobbled streets and paths. At the present time there are a number of areas around the old town that are being reconstructed. I saw one women in high heels shoes who came to a abupt halt as she was crossing the road. She just managed to extract her shoe from the cobbled stones before the traffic started up again. Another problem is various road works, around the city centre that seem to have few workmen and are progressing at a snails pace. Various obstacles have to be negotiated to get around the roadworks.
Walbrzych

the Main Square in Walbrzych - a city wich is located in montain Sudety.
From Walbrzych is not far to Ksiaz - the big and beautiful castle. There go some buses to the castle from city centre and from train station. Look at my Ksiaz page.
Flooding
by dutchboycalledjan
We've been in Wroclaw, it is a very nice, important and interesting city. However, it is on the river Oder and this and other rivers, like the Moldau in Czech Republic, are known for their floodings. The flood itself doesn't last long and usually can be predicted, but the consequences can be severe: one time we had to make a detour of several hours because the road was still in repair (a year later!). I would contact the Tourist Information for the details.
