If you are looking for a 5 star quality, it is not the place you should stay. Quite disappointing in this regard. 4 stars at best.
Breakfast buffet cheap. The cold cuts looked like they were laid out a day or so before: dry meats and pate showed a patina of better times. Can not get attention of the service people; they preferred to have private conversations. If you did not speak polish, you could not probably find out which product is which as there were no pace cards in front of the dishes.
My phone did not work when checked in. Had to wait an hour to have it serviced - it turned out not to be in a working condition - but before I got moved to another room, I had to answer a receptionists question, "Do you REALLY need a phone".
The new room was cold and the heating system was fixed only after 2 days of asking. Had to sleep in socks and a sweater.
Unique Quality: Location is great. Close to all major atractions. However, the 5 star category is misleading. If you are a buisnessman, you need to bring your own plugs and converters for laptops and cells as they do not have one.
Hi there! I'm about to book a room for 3 nights at the Sofitel Wroclaw in January but am having some difficulty understanding the rates!
I’m trying to book through the official site –
Basically it is giving me 3 options -
Early Rate - available until D-15, CC prepaid no refund, modification fee
Smart Rate - available and flexible until 3 days before arrival
Premium Rate - fully flexible
Which one am I to book? I obviously want to go for the Early Rate as it is cheaper. Does it mean the amount has to paid in full 15 days before arrival to benefit from the discounted rate?
I'm very confused!
Any help will be appreciated!!!
I *think* it means you can take advantage of the Early rate up to 15 days prior to arrival, as it says on the sales conditions, part called Guarantee Policy "Full amount of stay is payable in advance by credit card at booking time."
Hope it (or someone else with better knowledge) helps :)
That's what I (kind of) gathered. Basically I'm able to book the reservation now without paying anything. This means that if I want to benefit from the early rate then the bill has to be settled 15 days before arrival...?!
As marielexoteria said, you must pay when you book. D-15 means the price is not available 15 or fewer days prior to arrival
I usually use this service:
It offers the early rate without prepayment.
Thanks for the confirmation Henry. I'll get on with the booking!
