Hi Everyone,
I am trying to find a reasonably priced medium standard hotel (180-220 PLN) fairly close to Old Town. I keep finding a list of the same hotels over and over no matter which website I have tried, including Polish websites as well. I know there has to be a huge amount of hotels in this area, they are just not so easily accessible on the net. Does anyone know of any NOT listed here on virtual tourist?
how bout the tumski....a 10 minute walk to the square....right next to the water and the old cathedral isle....prices have gone up but it might still fit your parameter

i also found out that night in Polonia hotel cost betwen 120-200 zl, is close to the center and i think it might be that what you're looking for.Hope it will help a bit.

We came to The Cathedral ! It was built between the 13th & 15th century.
It's also known as St. John The Baptist's Cathedral. I captured the photos of this amazingly beautiful architecture in 3 stages as I couldn't fit the whole church in one photo !
Starts from the ground...
there are several places with great horses in and around the city.. if you enjoy nature and such sports.. also a good aim for photographers or painters ;-) long-legged boots are the most important.. probably sports shoes will do too.. and good trousers without seams where the legs must touch the saddle.. hats are usually available at those places..
This is a very little city near of Walbrzych in Silesia. There is the open air museum of old locomotives. There can you see the old (unique on world scale) steam-engines.

The 406 bus runs from Wroclaw aiport ('Lotnisko') to 'Dworcowa', a street close to Wroclaw Glowny, the main train station in the city centre -- the bus operates every 30 minutes between approximately 05-00 and 22-00 and the journey takes about 30 minutes -- the cost is between 2 and 3zl -- depending on the size of your luggage you may need to buy a ticket for your luggage as well -- cancel the tickets in the machine on the bus -- it's a very good service.
When you come out of the airport the bus stop is on the opposite side of the road -- the stop in the city where the bus terminates is Dworcowa, to find this stop come out of the main train station at the main entrance where the post office (Poczta) is on your right and go across the main road from the post office -- the Dworcowa bus stop is there on your left.
